Girl's Camp

This year I was our Ward Girl's Camp Director. I was extremely overwhelmed in the beginning, but everything ended up working out just great. Our theme was STAR (Star for Truth and Righteousness) We went up to Cabin Creek camp by Alturus Lake.

It was a great experience and we have great girls in our ward, and a great Young Women's president!

They pushed the Stake Leaders into the lake, it was awesome :)

I brought my mannequin heads to prank the girl's with. We all had a good time with em :)

Here is the flag I made for our ward...I was a bit of an overachiever..most people's were made out of duct tape :)

My house was covered in Girl's Camp projects. Shirts, headbands and bows, glitter, paint, glue...

And now I'm just glad that it's over!

Grant's 2nd Birthday!

Grant turned 2 on July 5th! I cannot even believe that I don't have a baby anymore, I have a little boy!

We kept it low key this year, and just had family over for a dinner.

 Grant got his favorite food, pasta!

Grant is such a sweet boy and is getting so old. He can say his ABC's and count to 13 :)

He loves: "choo choos", cows...well all animals really, giving Jimmer treats once a day, driving with Dad in his truck, playing with friends, saying prayers, swimming, going on the swing and slide, and FINDING NEMO!

He also really loves to clean up and wash his hands :) I've taught him well!

He is still pretty horrible in church. He just is go, go, go at all times and does NOT like to sit still!

We love Grant so much and have loved the past 2 years!

4th of July

Once again, I'm playing catch up! We had a great 4th of July in Lewiston, Utah.

 It's cool to pick your nose at parades

 Brandon was ruthless when it came to the Otterpops

 I love this picture! Brandon took Grant to run though the firetruck's hose and he LOVED it!

 Then we went boating in Burley

 And THEN we went and watched fireworks at John and Care's! Their neighbor does one of the best show I've seen. Grant loved watching them on the tramp with his cousins.

Memorial Day Weekend

Here are some pics from our fun Memorial Day Weekend! We decided last minute to join the Clinger and Moyes families up at my uncle David's cabin by Andersen Ranch Reservoir. It was wet and cold but we still had lots of fun! Sunday we went over to Sun Valley for a few hours before coming home. And Monday we went to a BBQ at John and Care's! It was nice to get away and we're grateful to have so much family close by.

Lately..

We've been quite busy since I got back into town. I'm getting more and more hair clients, and was also called as the Ward Girl's Camp Director.

Here are some "lately" pics:

 Grant is pretty much impossible to keep still in Sacrament meeting. It's so extremely frustrating/embarrassing. One thing that keeps him calm (for maybe 2 minutes) is to take pics on the iPhone.

 He loves to wear my glasses.

 Grant is also completely OBSESSED with cows right now. Especially baby cows. Luckily his Daddy is so nice and takes him out in the truck at least once a day.

 Last Saturday we went to a Mother's Day dinner at Grandma Robert's assisted living home

 And then on to Joelle's "Trendsetter's" concert

  I had a great Mother's Day! Brandon made me yummy french toast and gave me lots of candy and an Olive Garden gift card (he knows the way to my heart ;), I got flowers at church, and then spent most of the day at John and Caroline's where the boys grilled some yummy steaks!

 Doing nice things for a WHOLE day is such hard work!

 We also took home 2 new kitties!

 Grant loves them a little TOO much.

And Monday we had a great FHE at Shoshone Falls with some great friends!
