Okay, I just had to get that outta my system.
Well, we had a fabulous Christmas break. After not ever getting over my cold, I decided I needed to start my leave of absence from school 2 weeks early so I can get better before Christmas. It was a good choice and I was pretty healthy by the time we left for Idaho. Saturday the 20th was the wedding of my old roommate Elaine and a good friend Ryan (finally!! ;) Laine actually ended up borrowing my dress and I was honored to let her use it! She looked better in it than I did! It was a great day and we are so happy to have some more married friends!
We then traveled to Brandon's parent's house in Burley for Christmas. It was a lot of fun being able to see all of his siblings, even Eric and Katie came all the way from New York. Lots of good food and partying...unfortunately I still didn't have a camera charger so I got all of 1 picture taken :) It was pretty hard to be away from my family (and Beaver!) for Christmas but the Andersen's made me feel very much at home. Brandon got me two necklaces, a Suns Steve Nash t-shirt, and a steamer for my clothes!! It is seriously my favorite thing lately, I always hated ironing but steaming is so much faster and better and funner ;) Thanks hunny! I gave him some BYU sweatpants, gloves, and a Fossil watch. It was a great first Christmas together.
And then came the not so fun stuff. The plan was to travel back to Provo on Saturday the 3rd for the BYU vs Wake Forest basketball game. On Friday I was sick alll day with the yucky stomach flu (nothing I hate more). I couldn't keep any food or drink down so my body was literally empty. Saturday I woke up feeling pretty good but as the morning went on and I got in the shower, I could barely breathe. My body started cramping up really bad and I could hardly stand without Brandon holding me up. Well of course this scared him so he forced me to go to the hospital (nothing I hate more). Once we got into the ER they drew a lot of blood (nothing I hate more) and then after fishing around in one arm for a vein they decided to put the IV in the other arm (nothing I hate more) and gave me two full bags of IV. After being there for at least 3 hours we found out that I had Gastroenteritis and a bladder infection. I was feeling a little better and got to finally go home. We felt that I probably shouldn't sit in a car for 3 hours to go home so we stayed another night in Burley. I felt so bad that we had to the miss the big game, but they ended up losing anyways, so it's all good. I was pretty weak for about a week and had a few bad bruises on my arms, but I am doing mucho better now and started school on the 5th.
Now, we're just getting back into the swing of things. We both are very busy with school and work and sometimes don't even see each other until after 10 at night :( We hope all is well with everyone else and will try to blog more this semester!
Oh yeah, and GO CARDINALS!!

So glad you're feeling better...and sorry you had to do every single thing you hate all in the same day!
Love ya, Robbie
Scary! Tha sucks to be so sick all the time. I HATE bladder infections, I've had numerous kidney infections and they suck!
Apparently the trip to Boise wasn't worth mentioning? Wow, that hurts. It's not like I gave you gastroenteritis (or did I?). Still love you, though.
Glad you are back in the swing of things and finally feeling better. We are happy we got to spend some time with you and Brandon over Christmas.
Lins your blog is darling! I love it. I'm a 'newie' at this so I'm still trying to figure it all out. I might have some questions for you. Oh this is Melissa Kitchen by the way... and you're cute!
You guys have a blog?? We didn't even know. I remember Brandon saying you got sick over the break. That REALLY sucks, but we're glad you're better now. How are the Andersens? We miss you! P.S. We're coming to PG/Provo area on V-day/Pres. day weekend, and we'd love to see you guys or go on a date or something, okay? We'll call later :) Take care and love you!
Glad you "found" me so that I could "find" you. Cute blog!
