So Adventurous!

Brandon and I have been feeling a little fat and lazy lately so he had a bright idea to go hiking on Saturday. We hiked to Stewart Falls and had a nice little picnic. The leaves have started to change and the weather was perfect! Talk about a super Saturday!! :)

So You Think You Can Dance..Dance...dance..dance?

So whilst Brandon and I were apart this Summer, I called him and asked if we could get tickets to see the SYTYCD? tour when they came to the E Center in September. He was quick to tell me that we really can't and don't have the money to afford it. As you can imagine, I was livid. I believe the words "you are NOT going to have a happy wife on September 23rd" and "I am NOT going to let you buy Jazz tickets this year" were used. And he still married me :) Well, after we were married he told me that him and Chelsea DID get tickets to the tour and just wanted it to be a surprise! I was sooo excited! What a guy. Welp, the night finally rolled around and it was soooo cool to actually see them, and they're obv amazing. It was tons of fun to be able to go with Chels and Nate too. We like them. But, of course my battery was dead on my camera so it would only turn on for a few seconds for me to be able to snap a quick pic! I didn't even get any of us...oh well, we aren't the talented ones :)

Change of Plans

So I have always wanted to go to cosmetology school since I was little, but figured it would be something I would do after college. Welp, getting married at 19 tends to throw your plans off a little bit :) So after a lot of talking and praying, we've decided that it was almost pointless for Brandon to wait around at least an extra year for me to get a degree in something that I would probably never actually use. Oh yeah, and I HATE school. So I am starting tomorrow in a year long cosmetology progam at Bon Losee, which is just a few blocks away from our apartment. I am so excited!! Even though its Monday-Friday, 8:30-5 I am actually motivated to go to school for the first time in my life! It is mostly hair, but I also learn how to do nails, facials, waxing, and makeup. So just let me know if you want me to practice on ya! ;)

Lake Powell...again

My dad took some of us to Lake Powell for our last summer hoorah, it was a fabulous time of course!

It was Skylar's first boat trip and she did a great job!

The First Game

We were so excited for the first BYU game and couldn't believe it was already here! It was very hot for about the first 3 quarters, but the sun finally went behind some clouds. It was a great game though, I think BYU was supposed to do a lot better, but we still killed em!
