21

Yesterday was my 21st birthday! Definitely never thought I would be married and preggo by my 21st, but the Lord works in mysterious ways :)

Life is seriously so good right now. Seriously.
My sister Tiffani was down here from Boise with her family for the weekend so we hung out with them a bunch. Yesterday we went to Ikea and Chick-Fil-A. That night Brandon took me to Tucanos for dinner and then we had a bunch of friends over for cake and games.

It was a great day!

Joel and Carly, Cami and Bret

The girls (that stayed till the end :)

My fav boys!
We've made some really good friends here in Provo and are so sad to be leaving them.

Here I am at 26 1/2 weeks!

I have really been feeling pretty good lately and am hoping that will last as I enter my 3rd trimester. I've been working a few days a week at Gap and doing some hair on the side. Brandon is ridiculously BUSY trying to finish up the semester. He lives at the library all day/night which is really sad. But he is almost done! He graduates on April 22nd and then we will be moving out to Idaho the next day. For those of you that don't know, Brandon accepted an awesome job at the dairy that he did an internship with over the summer. They are one of the largest dairy farms in the nation and he is going to be one of their head managers! The best part is, they have a house for us to live in for FREE.99 It's a great opportunity for him and we can't wait to start this next chapter in our life!

Champs

Tonight Brandon's City League team won the Championship!! This is the 2nd year in a row that they've won. It was a super intense game and they won by one point! Brandon's best friend Adam even had to get stitches after the game!
At one point this year he was on a city league team, church basketball team AND intramural team!
We're down to only intramural now, and they won their first tournament game tonight (yes Brandon played in both, of course) He has also gone up to Idaho a few times to play in tournaments with his brother John. Basketball is what he does!

I just hope baby Grant gets his hand-eye coordination from Brand because I have none!

Shout out to Heather (Brandon's younger sister) for WINNING the BYU home-based business plan competition! Her and her sister Holly started a vinyl lettering business and entered it in the competition and they won $5,000! You go girls!

"Work that Up-do"

On Saturday I did Heather's roommate's hair for her bridals. I was pretty nervous cuz I know how paranoid I was about my hair for my wedding (which was done by my amazing sis Ashlee) but it actually turned out really well!
I'm still learning a lot and gaining more confidence in everything I do.

Lauren's Wedding

Lauren, my best friend in hair school, got married last Friday! It's actually a funny story how she met her hubby- his older sister was her YW leader and would always joke with Lauren about how Lauren was going to marry her little brother and wanted Lauren to write him while he was on his mission (she didn't) but when he came home, his sister set them up and they really did get married! Cool, huh?

It was a gorgeous day! Definitely the warmest it had been so far this year.

Lauren looked so beautiful. And guess what, her mom HANDMADE her dress! Lauren actually just printed off a bunch of MY bridal pictures and sent them to her mom and she tweaked it a little to her own liking. I was flattered ;)

Brandon insisted on getting a "belly shot" in front of the temple...kinda awkward.
After the sealing in the morning, we had a bunch of time to kill so we went to my fav mall, The Gateway, and shopped a little. Then we went to the luncheon in Bountiful. Then we had more time to kill, so we did a live session in the SLC Temple, which was really neat because I had never been before. It was awesome to feel Grant squirm around in my belly while I was in the temple. Made me so grateful to know that our family is sealed for all eternity. Then we went to dinner at the SkyBox Grill at The Gateway. And THEN we went to the reception at the Joseph Smith Memorial Building.
We were exhausted to say the least but it was an AWESOME day.

Not Fair.

Not fair that my favorite brother in law ;) has to be deployed to Iraq...again.
Not fair that my sister has to be husband-less for at least a year.

Not fair that he has to leave behind this baby doll.
Not fair at all :(
Please keep this little family in your thoughts and prayers today.

Tyler's Baptism

We went to Burley for the weekend for Brandon's nephew Tyler's baptism!
It was a lot of fun, and great to see some family
Robbie (Brandon's brother Ben's wife), Gwen (other brother Greg's wife), and Me all preggo at the same time!
Girl due March 28th (?), Boy due June 15th, and Boy due July 4th
So exciting!

(And so grateful to have married into a family with a bunch of AWESOME women who I love!)

P.S. Robbie's sister was at the baptism with her adorable, tiny 2 week old little girl. She asked me what we were having and I said a boy, and she says "well that's what they say"...and I said "huh?" and she says "they told me at TWO different ultrasounds that I was having a boy and it came out a girl!!!" Ahhh! So I have been freaking out about that lately, because quite frankly I was not convinced at the ultrasound that she was seeing what she said she was seeing! Even though I kept asking if she was sure, and she was, I am terrified.
But, I guess if that was the only thing that went "wrong" with the delivery, I would be grateful :)

P.P.S Yes, I got some caramel highlights, done by my great friend Katie!

Done and done!

On Wednesday I officially finished my 2,000 hours of cosmetology school! Wahoo!
It felt so good. It's been a long, stressful road (I did 60 hours last week) but I feel so accomplished!
Here I am clocking out for the last time!
(Don't judge my shiny face, I just had a facial)

Now, I just gotta take (and pass) the state boards...
