Sun Valley

We had a fabulous time in Sun Valley this past weekend celebrating our First Anniversary! It is gorgeous up there and the weather was nice and cool.

We saw this sly fox while driving around

After a delicious "fancy" dinner, we walked around town and took silly pictures and got a candy apple from the Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory (Be jealous, Debbie. Don't throw up, Chelsea)

Little Boo in a big chair

Brandon just had to find this spot where he loved to go fishing when he was little and would come to Sun Valley for Little League All-Stars..he wouldn't stop talking about how that is the greatest place to catch fish...in the world!

The next morning we took the ski lift to the very top of Bald Mountain

It was cold up there!
Para gliders

So beautiful!
*Random side note: After we got home Sunday night, I was talking to my dad on the phone and we figured out that he PAINTED the building that we are living in the Fall in 1970!! Isn't that hilarious?! I wonder if while he was painting our apartment he thought to himself "hmm I wonder if my 8th child will live in this apartment with her husband in the year 2009??" ;)
I am also sure it hasn't been painted since!

And then of course, that night we had to go and play games at the Yardleys! So hilarious..almost peed my pants a few times ;)

Love Julie!

The infamous "water game"

A lot of driving for a little bit of time being there, but it really was good to see the family that I love!

We're Back

..from another trip down to Beaver for my Grandma's funeral. It was really great..I am waiting to get more pictures from family members before I do the real post. But I forgot that I did have one pic of my Grandma and me on my computer. This was taken at my Grandpa's funeral in October '07

I also forgot to mention that I am named after her! My Grandma's maiden name was "Mildred Lindsay" I am very proud to carry that name on...

Kenny Chesney

A few weeks ago we went with John and Caroline to the Kenny Chesney concert at the Taco Bell Arena in Boise. I didn't really care too much about going cuz I think he only likes to sing about getting drunk ;) but it was a lot of fun! He is a great performer (and didn't look too shabby in his cut off shirt and black cowboy hat ;)

Lady Antabellum opened

As did Miranda Lambert

For the last song he put on a Boise State hat...the crowd went wild. Boise State fans are crrrrazy.
