Change of Plans

So I have always wanted to go to cosmetology school since I was little, but figured it would be something I would do after college. Welp, getting married at 19 tends to throw your plans off a little bit :) So after a lot of talking and praying, we've decided that it was almost pointless for Brandon to wait around at least an extra year for me to get a degree in something that I would probably never actually use. Oh yeah, and I HATE school. So I am starting tomorrow in a year long cosmetology progam at Bon Losee, which is just a few blocks away from our apartment. I am so excited!! Even though its Monday-Friday, 8:30-5 I am actually motivated to go to school for the first time in my life! It is mostly hair, but I also learn how to do nails, facials, waxing, and makeup. So just let me know if you want me to practice on ya! ;)

Lindsay...very exciting. I am sure you will be wonderful and you can practice on me any time The only problem is that I am in New York. How about a new hair cut at Christmas!:) Good luck!

I've always wished that I would have done the same thing. It would be nice to be able to do hair out of my home and bring in a little extra cash for fun! But I didn't and honestly, I probably would have been horrible at doing hair...I would talk too much and not pay attention to what I was cutting :). Anyway, I'm very excited for you and am a great guinea pig (I think that's how you spell it?) So you can practice on me anytime you are up visiting!

I am 100% thrilled for you and I'm sure you'll be fabulous. I'd trust my hair in your hands anytime. :) I'm glad you're so excited!

oh my gosh, I always said that I could picture you being the one to go to cosmetology school, I have no idea why but I could picture you doing that. I wish I knew how to do hair because its such a useful skill. My friend did hair out of her house once a week and made tons of money, and she got to be a stay at home mom too. So at thanksgiving you're going to dye my hair, o.k?

I'm excited for you, Linds, but more excited for my own hair (and nails, and eyebrows, etc.) Good luck and have fun!
