Trevor and Kaitlin's Wedding

My brother Trevor married the darling Kaitlin Kimball on August 11th in the San Diego Temple and it was a beautiful day! Well, it actually started out with me getting out of the shower to a text from my dad saying something along the lines of, "They are shutting all but one lane of the freeway down. Everyone needs to leave now." So I left looking like a wet dog so I wouldn't miss my brother's wedding, but they had already re-opened the freeway and we got there an hour earlier than necessary. (Thank goodness for visitor center bathroom's with outlets so I could do my hair ;)
The sealing was performed by Kaitlin's Grandpa and was so great. It was awesome to hear (all day actually) how much her family ADORES Trevor.
Unfortunately, the photographer went to the wrong temple and so we all had to wait 2 hours after the sealing for him to come and the married couple to come out!

The brother's in law (and they whine that they never get to be in the
pictures ;)

Kaitlin's family was so gracious and had a luncheon at her Grandparent's beautiful home right on the ocean. Then, since we were already behind schedule we had to head over to the reception, which was at a beautiful park in the same neighborhood.
This was probably the most beautiful reception I've ever been to. They thought of everything!

Live birds

Cookie and ice cream sandwiches

Kabobs
Cute little boxes to fill all the fresh fruit you could imagine! Brandon was in heaven with the raspberries

And I was in heaven with Chelsea's new baby Riley

Cute tree that people wrote notes and hung them on

Bridesmaids

Setting off lanterns

Aaaand then it was a 12 hour drive home the next day. (We were planning on 14, so it wasn't that bad!)

Summer!

It's no secret that Summer is my FAVORITE time of the year and we have been livin it up!
Here is a way out of order picture overload of what we've been up to.

Got some tan lines ;)
Grant and I did a 2 week Mommy and Me swim class at the Rec
Went to the Lincoln County Fair
Watched Dad play softball
Went to the Cassia County fair and rodeo
Boating
The biggest event has been Brandon accepting a different position in the Aardema Company and is now running their calf ranch of about 8,000 calves and 35 employees over in Wendell. This means we are looking to build or buy a new house closer to town and to his work. It has been quite stressful! Any advice is appreciated. This house we looked at above has a custom basketball court...of course it's been Brandon's favorite.

Girl's Camp

This year I was our Ward Girl's Camp Director. I was extremely overwhelmed in the beginning, but everything ended up working out just great. Our theme was STAR (Star for Truth and Righteousness) We went up to Cabin Creek camp by Alturus Lake.
It was a great experience and we have great girls in our ward, and a great Young Women's president!

They pushed the Stake Leaders into the lake, it was awesome :)
I brought my mannequin heads to prank the girl's with. We all had a good time with em :)
Here is the flag I made for our ward...I was a bit of an overachiever..most people's were made out of duct tape :)
My house was covered in Girl's Camp projects. Shirts, headbands and bows, glitter, paint, glue...

And now I'm just glad that it's over!

Grant's 2nd Birthday!

Grant turned 2 on July 5th! I cannot even believe that I don't have a baby anymore, I have a little boy!
We kept it low key this year, and just had family over for a dinner.
Shout out to Care for helping me make this banner last minute, and to Vinylizeit for the vinyl and fabric!
Grant got his favorite food, pasta!

Grant is such a sweet boy and is getting so old. He can say his ABC's and count to 13 :)
He loves: "choo choos", cows...well all animals really, giving Jimmer treats once a day, driving with Dad in his truck, playing with friends, saying prayers, swimming, going on the swing and slide, and FINDING NEMO!
He also really loves to clean up and wash his hands :) I've taught him well!
He is still pretty horrible in church. He just is go, go, go at all times and does NOT like to sit still!
We love Grant so much and have loved the past 2 years!

4th of July

Once again, I'm playing catch up! We had a great 4th of July in Lewiston, Utah.

It's cool to pick your nose at parades

Brandon was ruthless when it came to the Otterpops

I love this picture! Brandon took Grant to run though the firetruck's hose and he LOVED it!

Then we went boating in Burley

And THEN we went and watched fireworks at John and Care's! Their neighbor does one of the best show I've seen. Grant loved watching them on the tramp with his cousins.
And here's my other baby all snuggled up watchin the show :)
