Brandon has been playing for a softball team down in Burley. (Yes, we drive the 45 minutes at least once a week) Their name this year is Robollozo Trucking and you don't have to look twice at their uniforms to know that Brandon is one of the very few white guys on the team ;) But, they are really good! Undefeated, actually! It's been really fun to watch him play. I'll try and get some better pictures later.

CALIFORN-I-A!
We had a BLAST in Cali this past week! It was so nice to get away from work and spend time with each other and family in the sun. We stayed most of the time at my sister Melissa and Matt's house in Hemet (in between San Diego and LA) WARNING: major picture overload!

The famous In-N-Out burger. We both personally think it's overrated, but when in Rome
After lunch we went to my favorite outlet mall! They have everything I love there: J.Crew, Banana Republic, Gap, Nike....
Thursday we went to Knotts Berry Farm. It was a ton of fun, but I'll tell you what, that place brings out the WEIRDEST white trash people!

The log ride

Really scared!

Matt took Brandon mountain biking. He said he about passed out but had a lot of fun.

They even saw a live rattle snake! But the one around his neck is just a gardener ;)

Little Nathan loves those video games

Friday night we went to a San Diego Padres vs Anaheim Angels game. We bought just $12 tickets to sit up in the nose bleeds and that also got us a hot dog and Coke. After about the 1st inning, one of the security guys game up and asked if there was a party of 2 that wanted to move down lower. I guess some guy had tickets he wasn't using. Brandon quickly raised his hand. Little we know that "lower" meant the 10th row! We were right by the field behind 3rd base. The game was much more fun down there!

We went from up here...

I love me some cotton candy!

Saturday we went to Mission Beach with some of my parents and a few siblings and the Barkers (my 2nd family) who were all there for a wedding. Of course, out of the 6 days we were there, the day we go to the beach is the ONE day that is rainy and cloudy and cold. I did get in the water though and boogie boarded though.

Would you not love waking up to this every morning? These are the orange groves in their backyard

YF&R Activity
Last weekend we got to go to the Young Farmers and Ranchers activity. We went to Steadman's Ranch which is in between Declo and American Falls. Despite the cold and rain, it was a lot of fun. We even won $20 to Subway and a $50 Choice Hotels gift certificate!

Weekend
On Friday we went down to Logan for Brandon's cousin's wedding. Saturday was his cute niece Kaitlyn's baptism. After the baptism Holly had everyone at her house for a delicious breakfast! Then we had to hurry back to Twin for the girls dance recital. They all did great...even Caroline!
(Not sure why my face looks so shiny in this pic..)
1st Boating Trip
Last Saturday we got to go down to Brandon's parent's house in Burley to go boating on the Snake River. Boating is one of my most fav things to do, but this trip was not exactly ideal ;) It had been a lovely, sunny day but by the time we got down there and got the boat in the water, the clouds came in and the temperature dropped. I have NEVER been in colder water in all my life. I could not breathe! You all probably think I am such a baby, but I grew up in 110 degrees Arizona, okay?! It was still a lot of fun though, and I was reminded how much I LOVE to wake board. Even if I am super boring to watch :)
