"UN-FREAKIN-REAL"

Can I just tell you how excited I am that So You Think You Can Dance? (my FAV show) is on in the Fall?! AWESOME. Also, can I just tell you how much I LOVE Tyce Diorio? He is a judge and choreographer for the show and is H-I-L-A-R-I-O-U-S. He is by far my favorite judge. He has the funniest Brooklyn accent and actually knows what he's talkin about (unlike Lil C, who likes to make up words and try to sound really smart). Tyce taught a master class at my studio a few years ago and was just as hilarious. LOVE HIM and I really want to be his friend :)

Our Apartment

Maybe now everyone will get off my back about posting pics of our apartment ;) We moved up into Orem across from University Mall and really love it. Especially that it's double the size of our last apartment.

The Kitchen
Half of living room
Other half (notice the curtains, coffee table, and side table all super cheap from Ikea)
Bathroom with sweet 70's flooring

Bedroom

3 closets in each room, so sweet
And the lovely extra bedroom/ storage room/ Brandon's office

Christine

One of my best friends from hair school, Christine, is getting married next month so we had a bridal shower for her at another girl's apartment. She is one of the prettiest girls I know and is "Miss" everything, even won the swimsuit competition at Miss Utah this year (was secretly glad she didn't win the whole thing cuz she would have to wait a year to get married). Anyways, she is totally not your typical "beauty pageant girl", she is HILARIOUS and has the most sarcastic, funniest personality.

Here is a pic of some hair school girls. They have all become some of my very best friends. Christine is the one laying across everyone.
Playing a game where she had to put in a piece of bubblegum every time she had a different answer than her fiance (whose name is Todd- I know you Tic Tac Toers will appreciate that)
I made the mistake of taking a picture with her after sitting at the hot BYU game for hours

Slam It Up!

Every Sunday night on Brandon's mission (Thailand) they would get these cookie things (a chocolate biscuit, if you will) and "slam em!" You take a bite out of opposite corners and then suck milk (or hot chocolate, apparently) through them till they get all soggy and then enjoy! Brandon loves going to the Asian market and finding things they had on his mish

Labor Day- literally

On Labor Day evening (does that even make sense?) I convinced Brandon to hike the Y with me. After living in Provo for 2 years I still hadn't hiked it. Now, don't get me wrong, I HATE hiking. So does Brandon. (Have I told you how perfect we are for each other?) But I just felt like it was something I needed to do before we move in April. And let me tell you, it was laborious! (Yes, that is a real word)
You don't get a whole lot of endurance work out from working on a dairy farm all summer, so Brandon was struggling ;)

But, we made it! And it was worth it (I guess)
Unlike most people, I really like living in Provo. It's got pretty much all you need- a lake, mountains, good shopping, good food, the church is strong, pretty good weather... I will be really sad when we are done and have to move in April and actually be adults.

Really though?

I just wanted it to be known that yesterday I received a package from one of my sister's. Who shall remain nameless. I wanted to take a picture of it, but Brandon threw it away before I could. The package was addressed to: Lindsey Andersen

You would think that after being my sister for 20 years, you would know how to spell my name ;)

I guess I still love you though.

Mikey and Shiann

Mikey is one of Brandon's best friends from his mission. They were both AP's together and last year they worked together moving furniture. He was pretty much our son last year. Mikey is a great guy from North Carolina who always keeps me laughing and has a great southern accent. He met an awesome girl, Shiann, last year and they got married in the Salt Lake Temple last Saturday. We were so excited to be apart of their special day.

We went and watched a sweet Alligator Show

My best friend at hair school, Lauren Browne (her mom is Kris Browne), works at Roaring Springs waterpark in Meridian and got us all in for free!!

Cute Carter

"Helping me pack"

Carter pretty much hated me all summer. Well that was a lie. When we were alone he would be my best friend, also when he needed help with something such as going to the bathroom. But when anyone else would come around he would act all tough and not like me. I mostly blame it on the fact that I cut his hair a few times and he HATED IT. Care would have to pin him down to the chair (borderline child abuse) while I tried to buzz his head as fast as I could.
Until the last few days we were living there. I think he realized that we were leaving and maybe I wasn't so bad. Also, the girls had started school and he wanted a friend, so we became BFFs. He is such a hilarious, cute little boy and we miss him so much! Along with the rest of the Andersen family!

Andersen Family Reunion

We had the Andersen Family Reunion in August at Sunrise Over P, a River Ranch, in Declo

Water slide into the river

This is where we slept! The first night I had never been so cold in my life and had a migraine. I'm pretty sure I never fell asleep haha

Karaoke!

Brand and his best friend from high school, Carl, singing "Beer for my Horses"
Me and Hez did a sweet rendition of an Nsync song.. but no one took a picture

Precious baby James. My award on the last day was "Life Savers" for taking care of all the kids :)

Me and Caroline made all these shirts for the grandkids. (Missing Trey- Brandon's 5 year old nephew that has HLHS (a severe heart condition). Poor little guy woke up in the middle of the night and they ended up having to take him to the hospital, and then down to Primary's in an ambulance :(

Showin their guns!
